ABC's of the Project

Why I took up this project
I was going through the Crunchyroll app and noticed that the interface was lacking and I wanted to see if I wasn't the only one. Turns out I wasn't. I compiled a couple of reviews to use them as basis for this project.

The primary goal
My goal was to offer simple, modernized, and accessible navigation for users. By creating a visually appealling interface and enticing users to enter the realm of anime with each click, I aimed to make it simple yet engaging for users to find basic information.
My visual inspirations
Rough Sketches
I was thinking of a simple style with a modern and contemporary mix, with clean designs.

Why does the final design look like this?
Comparing to the original design, the colors I used are very contrasting which helps people with sight difficulties which it makes it more accessible for other audiences who are often disregarded. With a bright orange standing out against the white background and black typography it helps users focus on important features.

Most buttons and fields are rounded, reflecting a modern and clean design. I did add shadows to add some depth to the app so it wouldn't look flat and boring, making the user lose focus.

For the home page I decided to make the pictures and information easily readable because I asked people who use the Crunchyroll app, and I was told it was hard to read the descriptions sometimes.
