DHA Firm Landing Page

Law Firm, Mexicali, Mexico

Creative Brief
This project started with the idea of websites whose landing pages took me a fair amount of time to try to comprehend, making me notice that the user experience and interface of this particular business was lacking.. With this being the first thing a potential client could interact with, it could cost them said clilents.

The primary goal
My goal was to create a user friendly ladning page that doesn't take a significant amount of effort to navigate. A bad landing page can make a business lose clients whereas a good, user friendly one has a greater probability for the opposite effect. The original landing page is way too crowded with no hierarchy and may greatly confuse users, so what we're going for is reducing the amount of content the user is exposed to in the landing page and narrowing down said content to a couple of key points that will lead to other pages.

Rough Sketches
I created several sketches on how I wanted the wireframe to look, playing around with the content and trying to figure out which sections to use and whcih ones to discard.
Why does the final design look like this?
There was entirely too much going with the video at the top so I turned it in to an animated banner with the keypoints of the video. This was also dude to the fact that once the video ended it would be stuck in a weird and unreadable frame.

It's significantly shorter, only adding 5 sections of summarized information and adjusting the hierarchy of the content. We added a map with their location and put their credentials in the footer.

For this project I decided to stick with colors similar to the original landing page as to not stray from their original palette, which still generates some familiarity to past users.
